Near the calm sea


Under the wide and blue sky
like a beautiful curtain up and high.
Me and my love sat one day

to steal some hour and make some gay.


It was a winsome , silent shore
no bustle of sound and anymore.
The sea at peace so cool and chanting
with tide so low as one in painting.


Me ask my love,"Why so quiet "
she did a reply in very delight.
" Me think your love is why not nature,
why not you assure signature.


let our love till sun did shine
I said, "Come you close and say you mine".
